Emergency Preparedness Fair - Help Needed!

We are looking for help in setting up the CERT/CERV booth, talking to folks who attend the Fair about emergency preparedness and CERT programs, and breaking down the booth.

Set up Times: 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. on Sept 22nd at Del Monte CENTER . The Fair opens officially at 11
Booth Time: 11 a.m.- 2:30 p.m.. Fair closes at 3 but we start breaking down about 2:30
Break Down: 2:30 - 3:15ish
Are you prepared for the ‘big one’ – an earthquake – or a fire, flood, or other disasters? Get advice and training from our local experts.
FREE Emergency “starter kits” will be given to the first 500 attendees. Prize drawings.

* Emergency kit essentials * Safe food and water * Communication sources * Home safety * Fire extinguisher how-to’s * Shutting off natural gas * Smoke detectors and telephones for deaf and hard of hearing * Preparing for earthquakes, fire, floods, and more * Fire-safe landscaping * Navigating roads safely * Introduction to Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) * Emergency vehicles on display
